据展览策展人赵式庆介绍,“风劲弓鸣”语出唐代诗人王维《观猎》中的名句“风劲角弓鸣”。此次展览选取的文物年代从先秦延续至北朝,时间跨度逾2500年,全景展示了横跨欧亚草原森林地带的“金属之路”,以及夏商之际诞生的“北方系青铜器”,展品以实用马具、兵器和动物纹饰品为主,风格与中原青铜文化差异明显。
此外,展览还以骑射为切入点,呈现了游牧和农耕两大文明的碰撞与融合——从战国时期赵武灵王“胡服骑射”制度改革,到秦汉时期与匈奴战争中军备与战略的双重迭代,再到魏晋至北朝时期重装骑兵的崛起,这些历史进程从长远来看深刻影响了中国军事的发展轨迹。
