Liaoning-Belgium Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition was held at the Art Museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts

China News Service, Shenyang, September 25 (Reporter Han Hong) The Liaoning-Belgium Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition was held from September 20 to October 8 at the Art Museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.

Relying on the important opportunity of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Belgium, the Liaoning-Belgium Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition uses contemporary art as a link to display outstanding works from Belgian, Italian and Chinese artists, giving full play to the role of culture and art as a bridge and link in international exchanges, further enhancing cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between Liaoning and Belgium and other European countries, and injecting cultural momentum into deepening economic and trade exchanges, expanding open cooperation, and enhancing international influence.

This exhibition brings together 13 artists from Belgium, Italy and China, displaying 95 sets of art works. Through three major sections: a group exhibition of European contemporary art, a solo exhibition of international artists, and a dual solo exhibition of Eastern and Western artists, the exhibition presents the creative practices and contemporary art aspects of artists from different cultural backgrounds, providing the audience with a diverse international artistic vision.

According to reports, the exhibition uses art as a medium and focuses on communication, understanding and interaction between different cultures. Artists from Europe and China engage in cross-cultural dialogue through painting and various art forms. In the collision and integration of different artistic languages, they present common experiences and individual expressions under a multicultural background, further promoting exchanges and cooperation in the art field between China and Europe.

As a supporting activity of the 7th Liaoning Fair, the Liaoning-Belgium Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition uses art to build a platform for cultural exchanges and uses culture to empower economic and trade cooperation. Through the linkage between culture and art and international economic and trade exchanges, we will further expand the multi-level and multi-field cooperation space between Liaoning, Belgium and European countries, and lay a solid cultural foundation for Liaoning to expand high-level opening up to the outside world and deepen international exchanges and cooperation.
