KMT New Taipei mayor candidate Li Sichuan established a labor support association on the 29th. Li Sichuan said that labor is the greatest force that supports all cities. He proposed four labor policies, "pro-safety," "pro-future," "pro-family" and "pro-rights," to ensure the welfare and safety of workers.

First, "Very Safe" will increase workers' consolation benefits for occupational disasters. Condolence benefits for work-related deaths will be increased from 300,000 yuan to 360,000 yuan in the future. Consolation benefits will also be increased for hospitalization or disability due to occupational accidents. In workplaces with high temperatures, protective equipment and cooling facilities will also be subsidized.

The second "support the future" is for young workers aged 35 to 45 who have left the workplace due to family care reasons. It will provide a monthly subsidy of 5,000 yuan, with a maximum of 15,000 yuan, and combine vocational training and employment matching to help return to the workplace.

The third "supporting families", in addition to continuing Mayor Hou Youyi's plan to build workers' housing, will also use the space bonus from the urban plan to allow the business community to develop childcare spaces to take care of employees.

The fourth one is "supporting rights and interests". I have held discussions with relevant trade unions and listened to their demands. The Federation of Trade Unions' rents and inspection funds will be increased one by one, so that the trade unions can serve as a bridge between the government and labor.
