During the search, rescuers found four of the five houses carried into the river, but did not find any people in them.

YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, September 14 – RIA Novosti. The active phase of the search for two people carried away by the river during a cyclone in the Uglegorsk region of Sakhalin has been suspended, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to the prosecutor's office, on August 23, at the recreation center at Lesogorsk thermal springs, rest houses were washed away by a river flow; out of 11 tourists, two disappeared - a vacationer and one guest. During the search work, rescuers found four of the five houses carried into the river; no people were found in them.
