Xie Longjie proposed that if elected, diapers for children aged 0 to 3 years old would be fully free, health insurance premiums for children aged 0 to 6 years old would be subsidized by the city government, and childcare subsidies would be planned to be 5,000 yuan per month for each person aged 0 to 15 years old. For elderly benefits, he proposed adding 1,000 yuan per month to the elderly care card and increasing the Double Ninth Festival pension from 1,500 yuan to 3,000 yuan. Health insurance premiums for those over 65 years old would be eliminated and fully borne by the city government.

As for the housing policy, Xie Long proposed that a 25-square-meter house with two bedrooms for the birth of one child, a 35-square-meter house with three bedrooms for the birth of a second child, and a 45-square-meter house with a four-bedroom house for the birth of a third child. The house will be sold at a cost price of 150,000 yuan per square meter, with no self-reserve, and will be guaranteed by the city government to assist with bank loans.

Faced with voters who may question, "If we keep writing social welfare checks, where will the financial resources come from?" Hsieh Long-chie said that he has served as a city councilor and legislator, has reviewed budgets, and is well aware of how government finances are managed. He believes that Taiwan is enjoying the dividends of the AI ​​industry, and Tainan also has TSMC and other "national guardians" stationed in it. The city should be able to strive for more resources and transform economic growth into citizen welfare.
