Shen Boyang, the Taipei mayoral candidate of the Democratic Progressive Party, set off an "ocean current" and became extremely popular wherever he went. But in fact, as early as mid-May, after Shen Boyang was nominated by the DPP Central Committee, before the ocean current formed, the DPP's Xizhou Township mayor candidate Wu Wanping, who was far away in Xizhou Township, Changhua County, set up a campaign board combining with Shen Boyang. Xizhou can be said to be the first station for the overflow of the ocean current. Shen Boyang also recently made a video to help Wu Wanping. Wu Wanping laughed and said that she had "a good sense" at the time.

Shen Boyang said in the more than one-minute video that Xizhou Township needs a leader who is both "professional, local and capable of execution." Wu Wanping majors in architectural art and community building. She has been deeply involved in Xizhou since 2010, assisting in the revitalization of old houses, local marketing, accompanying elders and children, organizing black mud festivals or investing in charity. Wu Wanping said frankly that the billboard was installed at the intersection of Xilin Road and Cunxi Road, which caused a lot of controversy at the time. However, her original intention was that Xizhou is a large agricultural town, and fruits, vegetables and flowers are transported from the production areas to the Taipei Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Market every early morning. The lives of the two places are actually closely connected. She hopes that through the combined signage, she can convey the concept of cooperation of "Taipei Xizhou, urban and rural connections."

Wu Wanping said that she was the first candidate to be combined with Shen Boyang on the billboard. At that time, the ocean current had not even formed. Now many supporters have come to praise her for her "accurate predictions and vision." She also said that she would try her best to invite Shen Boyang to visit Xizhou in person. Although the task is a bit difficult, she will try her best to achieve it.
