Tests of a promising manned spacecraft are planned for the fall

The promising manned spacecraft will be tested this fall. This was announced by the General Director of the Roscosmos state corporation Dmitry Bakanov at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, TASS reports.

Bakanov noted that the state corporation has already outlined the next steps to develop manned space exploration.

“The first step is the launch and testing of a new promising reusable manned transport ship. And in the fall there will be a parachute drop and its tests in the Far East,” he said.

In April, the Center for Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities reported that a stand for a new generation manned spacecraft had been installed at the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
