People's Party holds meeting in Hualien Huang Guochang: New Taipei fully supports Li Sichuan not only because of Blue and White cooperation

Huang Guochang, chairman of the Taiwan People's Party, led the Central Committee to hold a meeting in Hualien today. Regarding the New Taipei City Mayor's poll, Su Qiaohui of the Democratic Progressive Party had 38.2% support, slightly ahead of the Kuomintang Li Sichuan's 37.1%, and 18.5% of the People's Party supporters % supports Su Qiaohui; he said that before seeing the complete data and original information, it is inconvenient to make too many comments. The People’s Party in New Taipei fully supports Li Sichuan, not only to fulfill the blue and white cooperation agreement, but more importantly, it believes that Li Sichuan "is a person who does practical things."

Huang Guochang pointed out that the People's Party will respect the results of various polls in New Taipei City, but believes that Li Sichuan's camp will use the polls as an important reference. He has been engaged in survey research and statistical work in the past, and it is inconvenient to make excessive comments on a single poll result without seeing complete data and original information.

Polls show that some People's Party supporters express support for Su Qiaohui. Huang Guochang said that the People's Party's support for Li Sichuan in New Taipei City is "not just fulfilling the original cooperation agreement." The more important reason for supporting Li Sichuan is because Chuanbo "is a person who does practical things" and is also someone who "can make things right." Therefore, the People's Party's support for Li Sichuan is not purely based on party cooperation.

He criticized Su Qiaohui for questioning the flow of state treasury funds to family companies, but never made it clear that the Popular Party and its supporters would not support the related actions he alleged.

Huang Guochang said that the People's Party will not only fully support the municipal vision proposed by Hualien mayoral candidate Dai Yuwen, but also assess it very clearly on Hualien City's economy, transportation, coastal management, elder subsidies, family childcare, financial transparency and tribal development. Hualien folks are asked to give Dai Yuwen a chance to serve.
