The management company (MC) continued to use the apartment of a resident of the village of Zelenogradsky near Moscow, despite the court decision to terminate the contract. This was reported by the Baza Telegram channel.

It is reported that 53-year-old Roman entered into an agreement with the Housing Project Management Company for a period of ten years in 2021. The company had to pay off the man’s debt for utilities and renovate the apartment.

However, over four years, the debt, according to the owner, has increased, and the condition of the housing has deteriorated significantly. When the man went to court, the contract was terminated, and the management company was ordered to recover more than 380 thousand rubles.

Instead of paying compensation, the management company demanded that Roman pay off utility debts and threatened to contact the police if he tried to get into his own apartment. According to Baza, about ten migrants are currently living in the housing.

The company's management stated that the court decision concerns only the termination of the tenancy agreement and does not provide for eviction. The Criminal Code intends to appeal the court decision. Company representatives also stated that if the owner replaces the locks, they will install new ones.
