The Marine Corps Command held a celebration event for the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Marine Corps today. Commander Lieutenant General Li Chunzheng pointed out in his speech that the Marine Corps has gone through the test of different eras and tasks, and has always adhered to the belief of "eternal loyalty" and the "three no-fear" spirit of "not afraid of hardship, not afraid of difficulty, and not afraid of death". Facing an increasingly complex security environment and rapidly changing Regarding battlefield types, the Marine Corps will continue to build on its existing amphibious operations to strengthen its capabilities in littoral operations, inshore strikes, drone operations, rapid maneuvering, precision firepower, and special operations. It will also deepen its effectiveness in cooperating with various naval combat units to create a modernized Marine Corps that is mobile, elite, highly survivable, and has sustained combat effectiveness.

The Marine Corps Celebration has been held in Kaohsiung in the past, but today it was moved to the 66th Brigade Camp in the north. Today's team celebration event invites previous Marine Corps commanders and commanders, veterans, local gentry, and family members of officers and soldiers to participate. Through activities such as passing on the torch, combat skills drills, and equipment exhibitions, we will inherit the "Forever Loyal" team training spirit and demonstrate the Marine Corps' rigorous training results and solid combat capabilities.

The Marine Corps Command held a team celebration event to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Army at Xiahu West Camp on the 12th.

The event was kicked off by the flag and drum team of the Combat Support Group, and continued with the viewing of the team celebration video, the "Passing the Fire" cake-cutting ceremony, the reading of the President's congratulatory message, and awards. Among them, "Passing the Fire" symbolizes passing on the honor and spirit of the Marine Corps from generation to generation. The ceremony also commended retired personnel, model companies and national military models, united the camaraderie, and continued the glorious tradition of the Marine Corps.

During the combat skills drill stage, the Marine Music Band, the Hong Kong Ming High School Ceremony Band, and the Juquan Team successively gave wonderful performances; then the Marine Corps 66th Brigade conducted a "UAV-Infantry Squad Combat" drill, using surveillance drones to grasp the enemy situation in the target area, combined with fire support from snipers, attack drones, and machine gun groups. Finally, the infantry squad launched the attack, demonstrating the collaborative capabilities of technological reconnaissance and ground combat forces.

In addition, equipment such as 81mm and 120mm mortars, Javelin missiles, twin-mounted stinger missiles, 20-mm machine guns and 40-mm grenade machine gun weapons, Humvees, AAV7 amphibious assault vehicles, and surveillance drones are also on display at the event. Talent recruitment, garden parties, and equipment experience activities are also set up to allow the public and the families of officers and soldiers to get a close understanding of national defense.
