The Chinese Coast Guard has crossed Kinmen waters 81 times in two years. The Coast Guard denounced cognitive operations.

The Coast Guard stated that the Chinese Coast Guard has crossed Kinmen waters 81 times from last year to this year, and was driven away by our ships in all cases.

The Coast Guard stated that in response to the China Coast Guard's claim today that "it has carried out regular law enforcement patrols in the waters near Kinmen since September in accordance with the law" and packaged the Mid-Autumn Festival to promote traditional warfare, the Coast Guard solemnly declares: "Taiwan, the Republic of China, is a sovereign and independent country and is not affiliated with the People's Republic of China. China's move is contrary to objective facts and is purely cognitive warfare."

The Coast Guard pointed out that in 2025, China Coast Guard vessels crossed the Kinmen restricted waters under the pretext of "law enforcement inspections" for 46 times, and so far this year it has reached 35 times, and 81 times in two years. Based on the analysis of actual navigation patterns, it is "normal harassment" and is definitely not "law enforcement inspections." What the China Coast Guard has done has not only seriously impacted the cross-strait atmosphere, but also blatantly undermined regional peace and stability.

The Coast Guard pointed out that China deliberately uses festive atmosphere and emotional rhetoric to carry out cognitive operations. In fact, it is an attempt to conceal the fact that it is unilaterally destroying the status quo.

The Coast Guard calls on the China Coast Guard to immediately stop any harassing behavior that may cause conflicts or escalate confrontation. The Coast Guard continues to deploy ships around the clock and closely monitor response situations to resolutely safeguard national sovereignty and maritime security and ensure fishermen’s rights and interests.
