[Reporter Gong Naijie/Comprehensive Report] The post-season challenge of a 3-win system for secondary vocational schools started on the 9th. In the second half of the season, the champion CITIC Brothers has 1 win first. It is not easy for the Unified Lions to fight to "win from bottom to top". Since the head coach of the Lions "Cake Boss" Lin Yueping took charge in 2020, he only faced CITIC Brothers with a winning rate of less than 50% and a winning rate of only 414% against the 5 teams in the league in the regular season. They are bound to face a tough battle.

The Uni-President team has rich experience in the post-season challenge. It has participated in 11 times in the past, and only 5 successfully entered the Taiwan competition. 2017 was the only Lions post-season challenge. CITIC, led by Snyder, eliminated the Lions coached by Huang Ganlin with 3 wins and 1 loss. This year, for the first time in nine years, the Lions met in the post-season challenge. CITIC lost 1 win first.

Mr. Pie took over the team in 2020 and had a hard time with CITIC Brothers. In the regular season, they had 82 wins, 116 losses and 4 draws, with a winning rate of 4% to 14. They also played against each other 3 times in the Taiwan Competition. Although they won the championship with 4 wins and 3 losses in 2020, they had a record of 1 win and 8 losses in 2021 and 2024. In total, they had 5 wins and 11 losses in the Taiwan Competition, with a winning rate of only 3.31%.

However, the Lions have a record of 11 wins and 13 losses against CITIC this year, with a winning rate of 4.58%. It is tied for the highest winning rate of the Lions since the beginning of the 2024 season. In addition, "natural enemy" DePaula may not participate in the game, which is not completely despairing for the Lions.
