In India, a daughter-in-law hired a former employee to murder her millionaire father-in-law

In India, a woman from Uttar Pradesh dealt with her millionaire father-in-law with the help of her former colleagues. News9Live reports.

Vinit Minocha, 63, the owner of pharmaceutical wholesale company Pharma Traders, was found lifeless at his home in Kanpur on September 5. The man was stabbed several times. Minocha was attacked while his son, his wife and six-year-old son were at a party. Security cameras captured two men breaking into the house after the family left. One of them was identified as Vishal Gautam, who worked for Minochu for 12 years as an electrician and was fired in 2022 for theft.

On the evening of September 6, Gautam and his accomplice were detained. They immediately admitted that they had committed a crime ordered by the millionaire’s daughter-in-law, Shalu Minocha. She promised Gautam 600 thousand rupees (538 thousand rubles) for eliminating her husband's father. Shalu explained her actions as harassment and total control from her father-in-law. According to her, Minocha installed surveillance cameras throughout the house, monitored every move of his relatives and demanded reports for any expenses.

On July 28, Shalu returned from a party after midnight, after which Minocha made a scandal with her. According to investigators, this was the last straw for the woman, and she began to develop a plan to eliminate the relative. She contacted Gautam, who was offended by the millionaire, and persuaded him to commit a crime. It also turned out that the man and his accomplice were supposed to suffocate Minocha with a pillow, but he offered active resistance, and the killers had to use knives.

Shalu Minocha was one of the largest medicine traders in Kanpur. The annual turnover of Pharma Traders reached 500 million rupees (450 million rubles).
