川普再度點名台灣晶片，9日在德州為共和黨的期中選舉拉票時再稱，過去愚蠢的美國總統任由晶片產業外流至台灣，表示多年來美國應該對台灣晶片課徵50％、100％、200％的關稅。

盧秀燕今天參加中賓停車場開幕典禮時表示，晶片不只商業產品，它最重要的是人類文明以及進步的重要象徵及推手，我們都非常以台灣的晶片產業為榮。
