UK masseuse installs panic button due to harassment from clients

A masseuse from the UK complained that she had to install a panic button in her office because of lustful men. The Daily Star writes about this.

Fionn Price, 26, from Wales, has owned her own massage parlor for several years. According to her, men regularly come to her expecting intimate services. “I even receive messages in messenger from men who don’t bother creating fake accounts,” the woman complained. “I look at photographs of them with their wives and children, and at the same time they ask for a massage exclusively in the groin area.”

Price said some clients ask her for types of sexual massage she has no idea about. One, for example, asked for a Nuru massage. “I had never heard of this before, but when I looked it up on the Internet, it turned out that this is an extremely obscene procedure. The master and the client, naked and covered in oil, rub against each other,” says the British woman.

She decided to install an alarm button in her office and hang a surveillance camera above the door to the salon after one client refused to cover his lower body with a sheet. The man was wearing shorts and had an erection, Price said. He began to deliberately move his penis to attract her attention, and then tried to guide her hand to his groin area. After this incident, she began to fear for her safety.

Price said that some acquaintances suggested that she not serve men. However, men make up 30-40 percent of a masseuse's clientele, and most of them don't do anything beyond the bounds of decency. According to Price, she is not going to deprive them of a massage because of a handful of horny louts.

The British woman called for a separate module on safety to be included in the training programs for massage therapists, so that young professionals enter the profession ready to fight back against unpleasant clients. She also advised her colleagues to create groups on social networks and share information about inappropriate clients.
