Al-Fayhaa signs Turki Al-Jaadi on loan from Al-Taawoun

Al-Sharq Al-Awsat sources learned that Al-Fayha Club officially signed the player Turki Al-Jaadi, who is good at playing (left back), before the close of the current summer period and strengthening the team’s ranks, especially in the defense line, which Al-Jaadi is considered a talent and who has previously represented several clubs, and the signing with Al-Jaadi came from cooperation on a loan system until the end of the season.

The player's career began in the Sunni categories of Al-Ittihad Club before he landed at Al-Arabi Club in the summer of 2024 with a free transfer deal, before joining the ranks of Al-Taawoun last season with a three-season contract coming from Al-Arabi.

Al-Fateh coach Khaled Al-Atawi said that his team was the closest to winning in its match against Al-Taawoun, and that it had several chances, but was unable to score.

Al-Atwi added in the press conference after the negative match: “We were closest to victory, and we created many chances, but we need to improve our decisions in attack, and the team is improving from one match to another.”

Regarding the repetition of the scenario of expelling a player from the opposing team and Al-Fateh not benefiting from that, Al-Atwi responded by saying: “Al-Taawoun played on long balls after the expulsion, and the issue is measured by the number of opportunities. Did they reach the opponent’s goal?” “I think we created a lot of chances today, but we didn’t succeed.”

This is the third draw for Al-Fateh in a row after playing 5 matches in the league this season.

Al-Taawoun and Al-Fateh tied 0-0 in the fifth round of the Saudi Professional League.

Both teams failed to achieve their first win of the season, and each of them recorded their third draw of the season, compared to two losses.

Abdulaziz Al-Suwailem, Al-Fateh player, almost gave the victory to Al-Taawoun. ⁠He came close to scoring an accidental goal against his team in the 60th minute when trying to block a cross, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Al-Taawoun ended the match with ten players after Younes El-Bahrawy was sent off in the 66th minute for receiving a second warning for roughness.
