Food industry expands social contribution activities targeting local children’s centers, military personnel, and delivery drivers

The food industry is carrying out various social contribution activities targeting children at local children's centers, military personnel, and delivery drivers.

According to the food industry on the 28th, McDonald's Korea will hold the third quarter 'Happiness Burger Week' targeting local children's centers across the country from this day to the 8th of next month.

About 140 stores nationwide will participate in this event, delivering meals consisting of burgers and drinks to about 250 local children's centers. It was designed to support children and teachers who are busy during the fall semester.

Burger of Happiness is McDonald's Korea's social contribution program that started in 2013, and has so far delivered more than 260,000 menu items to various neighbors in the local community.

An official from McDonald's Korea said, "We will continue to strive to spread small happiness in everyday life throughout the local community."

In celebration of Armed Forces Day, Domino's Pizza is offering a 50% discount on pizza take-out to soldiers, civilian employees, and military families nationwide on the 1st and 2nd of next month.

Soldiers and civilian employees can receive benefits by proving their status with military uniform, outing pass, vacation pass, or civil servant card. Military families can receive discounts through military family mobile verification on the Armed Forces Welfare Portal app.

Dong-A Otsuka provides 30,000 bottles of Narande Cider to CJ Logistics delivery drivers across the country.
