Head of Iranian Parliament Committee Calls on Middle Eastern Countries Not to Cooperate with US Against Iran

Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian Parliament Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, called on Middle Eastern countries not to cooperate with the United States in its actions against Iran and not to rely on the American “security umbrella,” Al Mayadeen TV channel reported.

“Addressing the countries of the region (Middle East - ed.), Azizi called on them not to cooperate with the measures (taken - ed.) by the United States against Iran and not to rely on the American security umbrella," the channel said in a statement.

In addition, Azizi warned that Tehran would respond to any new attack by the United States, especially against Iran's nuclear facilities.
