There were many opinions that universal design should be expanded to other public facilities.

According to Busan City on the 25th, the city conducted a satisfaction survey of 256 terminal users and workers from the 31st of last month to the 16th of this month, and 94.9% of respondents responded that the terminal usage environment has improved.

The area that was thought to have improved as a result of the general design improvement project was the waiting room and waiting space, which was the most common at 27.4%. This was followed by space image and comfort (21.1%), information signs and information delivery (18.5%), convenience facilities such as nursing rooms (12.8%), ticket booth information facilities (10.0%), and transportation and safety facilities (9.4%).

When asked whether universal design would be expanded to other public facilities, 93.0% of respondents responded that it was necessary.

Busan City carried out large-scale improvement work on the Busan General Bus Terminal as its first attempt to create a public space that citizens can comfortably use by applying general-purpose design to public buildings.

The waiting area, terminal lounge, nursing room, ticket booth, and interior and exterior signs were improved to be more user-friendly, and a separate wheelchair boarding section was also created.
