Bulgarian Prime Minister calls arms supplies to Kyiv reckless

Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev called the supply of weapons to Kyiv by European countries to launch attacks on Russian territory reckless.

“Isn’t it reckless that leading European countries are sending their long-range weapons to strike thousands of kilometers deep into Russian territory. With weapons that were produced in Europe, using European intelligence and trainers from Europe? Isn’t that also reckless?” Radev said, as quoted by the Sofia Globe.

He noted that the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine increases the danger of its expansion into the territory of other states and called for a sober assessment of the risks of ensuring arms supplies to Kyiv.

“Let us judge for ourselves, let’s not turn a blind eye to this. And what should we expect when our long-range weapons are used to strike deep in the rear of another country? Will it remain on the sidelines or will it respond? That is the main question,” Radev said.
