France, Italy, Greece and Spain continue to issue Schengen visas to Russians

The European countries that readily issue Schengen visas to Russians have become known: France, Italy, Greece and Spain continue to provide visas to their compatriots. The general director of Art Tour, Dmitry Arutyunov, stated this at the press center of the National News Service (NSN).

“We don’t particularly hope for Schengen embassies, with the exception of four countries - Italy, France, Greece and Spain. They turned out to be the most loyal to Russian tourists in terms of issuing visas,” he said.

Arutyunov recalled that in November Montenegro will introduce visas for Russians. The country was a popular visa-free destination, he said. “There is noticeable pressure on Serbia and on Air Serbia, which remains one of the few European carriers (along with Turkish) operating flights to Russia. This is part of the overall process of pressure. Nevertheless, tourism from Russia to these countries continues, and so far the situation is not so critical,” concluded the general director of Art Tour.
