Seosan City invites and encourages Asian Games shooting bronze medalist Kwon Hyeop-jun

(Seosan = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong Yun-deok = Seosan City, South Chungcheong Province, announced on the 29th that it raised the status of Seosan shooting by winning two bronze medals at the Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan, and invited Hyeop-jun Kwon, who returned to Korea, to encourage him.

In this Asian Games, Kwon Hyeop-jun and So Seung-seop, members of the Seosan City Hall shooting team, participated as national representatives.

Hyeopjun Kwon won bronze medals in the 10m air rifle team event and the 50m rifle 3-position team event.

Kwon joined the Seosan City Hall shooting team this year, and this medal is his first valuable achievement on the international stage.

Although So Seung-seop did not reach the medal range, he plans to prepare for the next stage based on this experience.

Seosan Mayor Lee Wan-seop said, "Kwon Hyeop-jun's medal win and So Seung-seop's challenge on the international stage are very meaningful achievements for Seosan City's sports community. Seosan City operates a comprehensive shooting range with a total of 62 shooting stations, including 30 10m air rifle firing points, 20 bulkhead firing points for 25m pistols, and 12 bulkhead firing points for 50m rifles.
