Evgeny Poddubny: Heroes of Russia should be an example for the younger generation

Evgeny Poddubny, Hero of the Russian Federation and representative of the federal five of the United Russia list, believes that Heroes of Russia should be an example for the younger generation.

Poddubny noted the importance of patriotic education and the special role of the “Time of Heroes” program, thanks to which three Heroes of Russia were involved in educational work at the state level.

According to Poddubny, combat experience and service to the country allow military personnel to speak with children in a language they understand and instill in young people a sincere love for the Motherland.

Heroes of Russia, who have proven their devotion to the Motherland in practice, should be an example for the younger generation, says the representative of the federal five of the United Russia list in the State Duma elections, Hero of the Russian Federation Evgeny Poddubny.

“I am convinced that the example (for the younger generation - ed.) should be the Heroes of Russia - people who have proven their devotion to the country in practice,” Poddubny said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He noted the importance of patriotic education in Russia. If you don’t purposefully work with young people, they will inevitably fall under the influence of others, Poddubny believes.

He assigned a special role to the “Time of Heroes” program, thanks to which three Heroes of Russia were involved in educational work at the state level. Thus, after completing the program, Artur Orlov was appointed chairman of the board of the “Movement of the First,” Vladislav Golovin - chief of the main headquarters of the “Yunarmia”, Andranik Gasparyan - commander of the “WARRIOR” Center.

“They can look into the eyes of any boy or girl and say: “Do as I do.” It is combat experience and service to the country that allows these people to speak to children in a language they understand. Military personnel who have distinguished themselves in battles are able to instill in young people a sincere love for the Motherland, since their authority is beyond doubt,” the Hero of Russia emphasized.
