Yesterday, Fu and Chen were detained by the court for the crime of profiteering under the Corruption Offenses Ordinance. The same defendants, District Office Secretary Chen Zhiyuan and Economic and Construction Section Chief Liao Wenzong, were each granted bail of NT$300,000 and NT$50,000.
