A 21-year-old man is suspected of stabbing a young woman of the same age to death at a gym in Londrina, in the north of Paraná, on Friday afternoon (11).

According to the Military Police (PM-PR), the suspect tried to rape the young woman, who worked at the establishment, in the parking lot of the location that has not yet opened. The victim reacted and was stabbed and killed by the suspect.

The man fled the scene and stopped on a street close to the gym, as he had injuries to his hand. He was rescued by members of the public and reported that he had been robbed.

The Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) and the police were called to respond to the alleged robbery.

At the same time, workers who went to the gym to provide services found blood stains there.

They alerted the authorities who were close to the scene in response to the alleged robbery.

The teams found the victim's body at the establishment. After being confronted by the police, the man confessed to the crime.

The suspect was taken to Santa Casa de Londrina and, after assistance, was taken to the city police station. Until the last update of this report, g1 had not located his defense.
