In response to Qiu Chenyuan, the People's Party candidate for Zhubei mayor of Hsinchu County, criticizing his opponents for "evading and dodging" and not daring to hold a public debate on Zhubei municipal affairs. Wu Xuzhi emphasized that every ounce of the budget is the hard-earned money paid by the hard work of the citizens. The core of Xuzhi's future governance will be to devote all public resources to the most urgent needs of the citizens and will never be reduced to a treasury for personal packaging.
