US Senator Van Hollen to Netanyahu: War criminal and chronic liar

US Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen shared a video on the social media platform of US-based company X regarding Netanyahu's statements about New York Mayor Mamdani.

Van Hollen said, "I just watched the video Netanyahu released about Mamdani. The first thing everyone needs to know is that Prime Minister Netanyahu is a chronic liar. He lies and lies and lies. But worse, he is also a wanted war criminal." he said.

Referring to the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for Netanyahu, Van Hollen reminded that the Israeli Prime Minister is a "wanted war criminal" and stated that Netanyahu faces restrictions on entering some countries in line with this order.

Van Hollen said, "There are many countries that do not allow him to pass through their borders. The Prime Minister is lucky that the USA allows him to pass through their borders. However, this does not eliminate his lies and war crimes. He should be ashamed and shamed." he said.

Pointing to the Netanyahu government, Van Hollen said, "Even now, it refuses to ensure accountability and justice for American citizens killed by violent Israeli settlers or Israeli security forces in the West Bank." he said.

Regarding whether they would implement the arrest decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC) if Netanyahu came to New York for the UN General Assembly meetings, Mamdani emphasized that they did not have independent legal authority to arrest him, but that the federal government should take this step.

Describing Netanyahu as "the architect of genocide" and noting that he has no place in New York, the Mayor of New York said, "I think Netanyahu's place is in The Hague. He is a war criminal accused by the ICC." made his assessment.
