Pezeshkian said Iran has lost confidence in negotiations with the United States

DOHA, September 26 - RIA Novosti. Iran no longer has confidence in the negotiation process with the United States after the attacks and sanctions, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told Al Jazeera.

“We no longer trust negotiations with Washington, given the repeated attacks and sanctions that followed each round of negotiations,” Pezeshkian said.

At the same time, he noted that Tehran sends messages to Washington through intermediaries represented by Qatar and Pakistan and, first of all, expects the Americans to clarify their position on the previously reached memorandum of understanding.

Pezeshkian also said that he does not see the need to meet with the US President when the Americans have not fulfilled the previously signed agreement.
