Earlier, US President Donald Trump suggested using the expression “superintelligence” instead of the term “artificial intelligence”, because, in his opinion, the word “artificial” creates the erroneous impression that the technology is not real.

“During the meeting, the leaders of China and the United States held in-depth discussions on the issue of artificial intelligence,” says a statement on the department’s website.

It is noted that regarding the terminology used to describe artificial intelligence, “China highly values ​​the US position and respects the language of the American side.”
