A young man lost his life as a result of a conflict between his fiancee in Adana Sarıçam.

The incident took place on September 19 in an apartment building in Gültepe District of the central Sarıçam district. Allegedly, an argument broke out in the morning between Hasan Temur (18), who was preparing for marriage, and his fiancée Ayşegül K. (19). It was learned that the couple had an appointment in the early hours to complete the medical report and hospital procedures required for their wedding.

Ayşegül K. woke up her fiancé Hasan Temur to make the appointment. Thereupon, an argument broke out between Temur and Ayşegül K. It was claimed that Temur punched his fiancée as the argument escalated. Ayşegül K. took the knife on the kitchen counter to defend herself.

During the fight, Ayşegül K. stabbed Hasan Temur in the chest. While Temur collapsed to the ground covered in blood, Ayşegül K. reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notice, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Hasan Temur, who was taken to the hospital after the first intervention of the medical teams, could not be saved despite all the interventions of the doctors. Following the incident, Ayşegül K. was taken into custody by Adana Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch Directorate Homicide Bureau teams.

"I DID NOT WANT TO KILL, I WANTED TO DEFEND MYSELF"

In her statement at the police station, it was learned that Ayşegül K. said, "I took the knife to defend myself when he hit me. During the struggle, the knife stabbed Hasan. I did not want to kill, I just wanted to defend myself. I was on the eve of marriage, I regret it."
