3 cars crashed into a truck loaded with bricks on the Afyonkarahisar-Izmir road, 6 people were injured

The accident occurred on the bridge in the area known as the hotels area, at the 6th kilometer of the Afyonkarahisar-Izmir road. Three cars collided with a truck loaded with bricks, the identity of whose drivers were unknown.

The tractor of the truck, whose driver lost control, left the trailer, crossed the barriers in the median and crossed into the opposite lane, and then remained suspended on the bridge railings. One of the cars involved in the accident remained suspended on the railings of the bridge. In the accident, the truck driver and 5 people in the vehicles were injured.

THE TRUCK DRIVER IS IN LIVE DANGER

Upon notice, many police, firefighters and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances. It was learned that the life-threatening condition of the TIR driver, one of the injured who was treated. Due to the accident, the Afyonkarahisar-Izmir road was completely closed to vehicle traffic for a while. After the vehicles were removed with the help of a tow truck, traffic flow was maintained in a controlled manner.
