4 people were injured in a car-pickup truck collision in Samsun-Atakum

4 people were injured in the accident that occurred when a car hit a pickup truck from behind in SAMSUN's Atakum district.

The accident occurred at around 23.30 on the Samsun-Ankara Highway. According to the information obtained, the car with plate number 34 JR 2910, driven by İhsan K. (39), who was going from Rize to Istanbul, crashed into the back of the truck with plate number 34 PRH 415, driven by Aykan S. (40), which was driving in front of him as a result of the driver losing control of the steering wheel at the bend in Sarıışık location. Due to the force of the impact, the truck was thrown into the median and fell on its side.

Upon the notice of the surrounding people, health, gendarmerie, police and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. In the accident, the car driver's father, Turgut K. (64) and his mother, Aysel K. (65), as well as the truck driver, Aykan S., and the driver next to him, Aydın S. (55), were injured. After the first intervention of the medical teams, the injured were taken to Samsun City Hospital and Gazi State Hospital by ambulances. It was learned that the injured people were in good health. The investigation into the accident continues.
