The period of SCT increase in fuel prices begins: An increase is expected on October 1

A new period of tax-induced increases in fuel prices is beginning. With the end of the Eşel mobile application on October 1, the difference in SCT that the state must collect is expected to be reflected in pump prices, while current calculations indicate an increase of 12.47 TL for gasoline, 3.60 TL for diesel and 1.48 TL for LPG autogas.

EYES ARE TURNED TO OCTOBER 1

The countdown has begun for the new era in fuel prices, which are closely followed by millions of vehicle owners.

In line with the decision published in the Official Gazette dated July 3, 2026, the ecel mobile application, which limits the impact of tax increases in fuel prices on pump prices to a certain extent, will end on October 1.

With the end of the implementation, it is expected that the SCT difference that the state must collect as of today will be reflected in fuel prices.

CALCULATED INCREASE ON PETROL IS 12.47 TL

In the information made to the sector stakeholders, it was stated that considering the current market conditions, no discount is expected on gasoline until the end of the month.

According to calculations, the 10.3899 TL SCT difference that the state must collect on gasoline will be reflected in the pump price as 12.47 TL, including VAT.

However, if there is a sharp decrease in the price of gasoline in international markets in the next two days, and if this decrease is reflected as a discount at the pump, the expected increase amount on October 1 may also change.

HOW MUCH WILL DIRECTORY AND LPG BE PRICED?

With the end of the Eşel mobile mechanism, there will be an increase in diesel and LPG autogas prices.

According to current calculations, the amounts expected to be reflected in pump prices as of October 1 are as follows:

Gasoline: 12.47 TL including VAT

Diesel: 3.60 TL including VAT

LPG Autogas: 1.48 TL including VAT

INCREASE ACCOUNT FOR DIESEL AND LPG

With the end of the Eşel mobile mechanism, there will be an increase in diesel and LPG autogas prices.

According to current calculations, the amounts expected to be reflected in pump prices as of October 1 are as follows:

Industry representatives expect SCT differences to be reflected in pump prices on October 1, unless there is an extraordinary change in international oil and product prices.

BRENT OIL HAS DECREASED TO THE 100 DOLLAR LIMIT

The barrel price of Brent oil, which rose after the tension in the Strait of Hormuz, fell from 106.9 dollars to 99.50 dollars following the decline in gold prices and the pressure from the Fed.

A barrel of Brent oil is traded at $99.50 in international futures markets.
