Trump ally publishes AI image with Moraes wearing electronic ankle bracelet

Jason Miller, President Donald Trump's ally and former right-hand man, published an image made with artificial intelligence that shows Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), wearing an electronic ankle bracelet. The publication was made on Sunday night (13).

In the publication, Miller reproduced a report from the Financial Times newspaper which states that the scandal involving Banco Master plunged the STF into an unprecedented crisis.
“This revelation made Moraes one of the main focuses of the growing corruption scandal caused by the collapse, last year, of Banco Master, a US$10 billion financial institution”, says the excerpt published by Miller.
Along with the publication, the former advisor published an image made by artificial intelligence of Moraes. In it, the minister appears sitting on a staircase that simulates the facade of the STF and wearing an electronic ankle bracelet.
Miller has used social media to criticize Brazilian authorities in the past. Last year, he made a series of publications to comment on Moraes' performance.
Furthermore, in August 2025, the former advisor stated that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) had a brain like a “mashed banana” and compared him to former North American President Joe Biden.
Miller was one of Trump's top advisors during the US president's first term and was part of the transition team after his election victory. He still maintains a close relationship with Trump.
In 2021, after a trip to Brasília, where he visited Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), the American was taken by police officers to the Federal Police room at Brasília International Airport. He was heard as part of the Fake News Inquiry, conducted by Moraes at the time.

Understand the crisis in the STF
The crisis at the Supreme Court intensified at the beginning of September, after Minister André Mendonça removed the confidentiality of a Federal Police report produced as part of the investigations into Banco Master.
The document revealed messages and contacts between former banker Daniel Vorcaro and minister Alexandre de Moraes.
The investigations into the bank also brought to light Vorcaro's relationships with other members of the Court and businesses involving family members of ministers, increasing questions about possible conflicts of interest.
The release of the material triggered a public clash within the Supreme Court. Moraes reacted and called for an investigation into Mendonça for alleged abuse of authority.
Tension increased with conflicting decisions between ministers. Among them, the removal of the director general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, determined by Mendonça, and the subsequent reinstatement, by decision of Flávio Dino.
The succession of measures exposed an internal division in the Court and led Fachin to cancel plenary sessions to avoid a public meeting between ministers at the height of the crisis.
Faced with the escalation, Fachin began to centralize decisions related to the crisis. The president of the STF suspended conflicting measures from colleagues, kept Andrei Rodrigues in command of the PF, removed Moraes from the rapporteur of the fake news inquiry and determined that any procedures involving investigations against Court ministers be previously submitted to the Presidency of the court.
Fachin also scheduled a plenary session for Tuesday (15) to analyze the PF report that highlights the relationship between Moraes and Vorcaro and the request from the Attorney General's Office to annul it.
A session to analyze Mendonça's conduct was scheduled for September 23.
