ASELSAN MTAL and Konya MTAL, First Election with a Record in LGS Results

According to the statement made by ASELSAN, the schools, which attract attention with their strong technical infrastructure, modern vision and qualified education approach, were the first choice of Turkey's most successful students in the High School Transition System (LGS) exam this year. According to the announced placement results, ASELSAN MTAL (Ankara) Electrical-Electronics Technology Field was in the record percentile of 1.21 percent. The School's Mechanical and Design Technology Department recruited the most outstanding students with a 1.66 percentile. ASELSAN Konya MTAL also impressed with its rising success rate. At the school, which trains future engineers and technicians, the Electrical-Electronics Technology Field reached a 2.99 percent success rate, while the Machinery and Design Technology Field became the focus of young talents with a 3.90 percent success rate. Educational curricula directly integrated into high technology production, laboratory facilities and the wide range of internship/employment opportunities offered by ASELSAN have placed these two schools among the most prestigious educational institutions in Turkey. The 2026 placement results once again confirmed the young people's belief and intense interest in the defense industry in Turkey's domestic and national technology move. For ASELSAN Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, the base slice in the Electrical-Electronics Field, which was 8.08 percent in 2019, increased to 1.21 percent in 2026. It also increased from 9.75 percent to 1.66 percent in the Machinery and Design Field. In ASELSAN Konya Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, the base slice from 6.19 percent in the Electrical-Electronics Field increased to 2.99 percent in 2021, and the base slice from 7.05 percent in the Machinery and Design Field increased to 3.90 percent. Both schools have risen steadily in the preference rankings since their establishment, and in a short time, they have become a strong position among Turkey's elite vocational and technical high schools that accept students from high achievement groups.
