Cury's campaign confirmed that the companies are not in Augusto Cury's declaration of assets, that this is an error and that the inconsistency will be corrected.

The campaign did not inform Cury's participation in the business or the value that these businesses represent in the candidate's assets.

Augusto Cury declared assets of R$242 million to the Electoral Court, this is the writer's first electoral contest.

Of the total presented, half of the assets — R$121 million — corresponds to an amount that, according to the statement itself, was lent by Cury to the company Philadelphia Nature Participações.

Another R$54 million is concentrated in equity interests, and around R$33 million was declared in shares.

Born in Colina (SP), Cury is the author of best-selling self-help books with works published in dozens of countries.

Before closing with Avante, he negotiated a ticket with Romeu Zema (Novo), but the talks did not progress.
