European countries' restrictions disrupt Israel's marine vehicle supply

In the news of Haaretz newspaper, based on Israeli military officials, it was stated that the restrictions of European countries on the sea vehicles built for Israel caused problems in the Israeli navy's supply of warships and submarines.

It was reported that some European countries, including Norway, Denmark and France, refused to supply defense materials to be used in submarines and corvettes built for Israel in German shipyards. It was noted that Israel tried to overcome these restrictions by using third countries when faced with similar situations in the past, but could not do this anymore.

The news also stated that the 6th submarine of the Israeli navy, which was built and set off for Israel in Germany and took a long time to arrive, had to extend its route because Norway and Denmark did not allow it to dock at their ports.

The news emphasized that the countries in question did not allow the use of their ports, even though the submarine was still flying the German flag and was owned by the German shipyard, and that the submarine, which changed its route for this reason, traveled approximately 8 thousand kilometers further and took longer than expected to reach Israel.
