The UAE expresses its solidarity with Saudi Arabia after the Aramco helicopter crash

The UAE expressed, in a statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Sunday, its solidarity with the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, regarding the victims of the Saudi Aramco helicopter crash in the Ras Tanura region, which resulted in the death of all its passengers. In its statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed “its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims, and to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people, in this painful tragedy,” according to what was reported by the Emirati “WAM” news agency. The Saudi Ministry of Energy announced in a statement, earlier on Sunday, that an Aramco helicopter had crashed in Ras Tanura, killing its 14 passengers, all of whom were Saudi citizens, according to what was reported by the Saudi “SPA” news agency. An official source in the Saudi Ministry of Energy said in a statement, “On Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 6:00, a Saudi Aramco helicopter crashed in Ras Tanura, and the accident resulted in the death of all 14 passengers, all of whom were Saudi citizens, may God have mercy on them,” according to what SPA reported. The source explained in the statement that investigations are underway with the participation of relevant authorities to determine the causes of the helicopter’s fall and crash.
