Statement on Natural Gas Consumption Support from Minister Göktaş

In his written statement, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş reminded that they have included the 'Natural Gas Consumption Support' for citizens in need within the scope of regular social assistance in 2023 and offered it to the service of citizens.

Minister Göktaş noted that in order for households to benefit from the 'Regular Natural Gas Consumption Support', the applicant must be a Turkish citizen, apply for the support program via e-Government and reside in the district/town where natural gas is supplied, and emphasized that the criteria for entitlement decision by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation must also be met.

Minister Göktaş stated that citizens can use the bill payment service at 'eailem.aile.gov.tr' to pay their bills for their household from 'e-Government' at 'eailem.aile.gov.tr' during each payment period, without making a separate application, and said, "In addition, our citizens can regularly benefit from the allocation amount determined for the province they reside in, by paying through Halkbank/TAM ATM channels with the 'Family Card' they receive from Halkbank branches. Payment amounts within the scope of the support program are adjusted by taking temperature differences into account." "It may vary from province to province. In this context, we provided a total of 1 billion 82 million liras of support to 620 thousand 464 beneficiaries in the Regular Natural Gas Consumption Support Program in the January-September period of 2026."
