Old mining areas will be transformed into industrial zones in Tavşanlı

The decision taken within the scope of the 2nd paragraph of the 13th article of the Regulation on Determination of Investment Areas titled "Finalization of the Location of the Investment Area" was published in the Official Gazette.

With the publication of this decision, high-tech industrial sectors as well as energy will be added to the economy of Tavşanlı, known for its underground riches and deep-rooted history. Old mining areas in Tavşanlı, which has the most important lignite deposits of Turkey; It will turn into factories and production facilities.

PROCESSES WILL ACCELERATE

All permit processes for the establishment of production facilities in the determined region will be carried out much more quickly under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

PRIORITY INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure services such as roads, water and electricity needed by the region will be met on a priority basis.

WILL BENEFIT FROM INCENTIVES

While investors' access to financing will be facilitated, they will also be able to benefit from various incentives.

IT WILL BE AN INDUSTRIAL ZONE

AK Party Kütahya Deputy Mehmet Demir, who started his speech by thanking the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, said that this decision; He described it as a historic step for the city's industry, production, employment and economic future. Stating that the investment area in question will be transformed into Tavşanlı Industrial Zone, AK Party member Demir stated that the areas where mining activities were carried out in the past will be brought back into the economy.
