Guilty of Not Giving Way to Ambulance Identified in Başakşehir

Başakşehir District Police Department Traffic Inspection Bureau and Başakşehir Police Headquarters teams launched an investigation into the incident that occurred on Süleyman Çelebi Street.

During the work carried out by the teams, it was determined that Ali Berk B., the driver of the car with plate number 34 BUY 223, did not give way to the ambulance vehicle in traffic, got out of the vehicle for the purpose of attack, and his driver's license was previously confiscated. HIS LICENSE WAS SEIZED FOR 90 DAYS.

A total fine of 466 thousand TL was imposed on the caught driver in accordance with the relevant articles of the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918. While the driver's license was confiscated for 90 days, the car used in the incident was banned from traffic for 90 days.

It was also learned that judicial proceedings were initiated against the suspect Ali Berk B. for the crime of 'deliberately endangering traffic safety', which is stated in Article 179 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK).
