Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı spoke about MHK and the referee file

Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı made special statements to HT Spor. Adalı also made important remarks regarding the latest developments in Turkish football and the "referee file" investigation.

Serdal Adalı, for MHK; "I heard the news in the early hours of the morning. Since the matter is now a judicial matter, it would not be right for me to talk about it. We trust in justice. From the beginning, what I have always said as Beşiktaş for two years is that we want justice, we do not want privilege. In fact, there were issues that I would like to talk about if these developments had not happened today. Now the investigation phase of the matter is in progress. Honestly, I do not want to talk much about this issue, as it is a judicial part of the matter." he said.

In his evaluation, Adalı said, "Our Minister of Justice has made a statement in line with what we have said as Beşiktaş from the beginning. The only pleasure and entertainment of the Turkish nation is football. This must be managed properly, fairly and equally. We are not happy at all to talk about referees or referee mistakes after every match. Hopefully, after these latest developments, the justice we expect will apply not only to us, but to every team in Türkiye; because everyone complains about the same things. I hope whatever is good for our country will happen." he said.

As for the mention of the name Anthony Taylor for the MHK Presidency, Adalı said, "It is possible. There can be a foreign coach, a foreign referee, or a foreign MHK President. As long as things are fixed. If we are going to fix things, I do not think that he did this, that did this, Anthony Taylor did it, or someone else did it. However, in Türkiye, we also have very good coaches and former referees who will manage the MHK in terms of refereeing. It can be one of them. As long as they show proper management, the name is not very important for us." he said.
