Buse Akgün Gök filed for divorce due to severe disagreements and moved to the neighborhood where her family lived. Buse Akgün Gök was stabbed by her husband Bayram Gök, who was in the process of divorcing, in the garden of Şehit Turgay Topsakaloğlu Primary School, where she went to pick up her daughter on September 17.
Buse Akgün Gök, who was injured, died 7 days later in the hospital where she was taken. Bayram Gök was taken into custody after the incident and arrested in the court to which he was referred.
'A PLANNED HORROR'
Buse Akgün Gök's father, Hasan Akgün, said, "On the day of the incident, they said there was a parent meeting at the school. Bayram was working a shift at the gas station. He said he was on the night shift. My child went to the school for the meeting. Bayram's mother was also there. Just before the incident, Bayram's mother took the children away. Bayram also came there and stabbed my child. So, this was a planned murder. Bayram had been disturbing Buse before. They submitted the petition during the divorce phase and Bayram "Gök's brother sent threatening messages to my daughter, saying, 'He will shoot you if necessary. I will take care of my brother inside.' So, this is a horror that he planned with the support of his family. Now, Buse's phone is being investigated by the police, everything will be revealed."
'THEY STARTED NOT SHOWING THEIR CHILDREN TO MY DAUGHTER'
Explaining that his daughter moved to the neighborhood where they lived during the divorce, Hasan Akgün said, "They told us before that they couldn't get along. But of course, we said many times that they had 2 children, that their children would stay in the middle, and that we could solve the problems together if possible. They tried to get a consensual divorce from the very beginning. Then, because Bayram turned the divorce into a contentious one, they started not showing the children to my daughter, but I was seeing the children. I would go and pick them up or have them brought somehow. Then this happened. A device the size of a matchbox beeped in the children's bag. "His grandmother noticed it. We didn't realize it was a tracking device at first, but we noticed it when it beeped," he said.
'I WILL DEVOTE MYSELF TO CHILDREN'
Hasan Akgün said that he tried to be with his daughter during the divorce phase and said, "I told my daughter, 'Come and be with me. When you are with me, you can also see your children. I will give you the necessary help.' But Buse would not ask for help from anyone, even if she was hungry or thirsty. She said, 'Dad, I will try to stand on my own feet. If anything happens, I will inform you.' I learned after the incident that Bayram told my grandson's mother that he was carrying a knife. On the day of the incident, he took the children to the dormitory. "We went to the dormitory and met. If God allows, I will devote myself only to the children. The day I take the children with me, they will be our only consolation. I hope these murders of women and these street murders end. After all, a person can get married and leave, but ultimately they need to live their lives."
