The friendship of fisherman Adem Yılmaz and Yaren stork in Eskikaraağaç village of Bursa's Karacabey district, the only village representing Türkiye in the European Stork Villages Association, turned into a story followed with interest by millions.

Yaren, who came in every migration and landed on Adem Yılmaz's boat, visited the village for the 15th time on February 24. On March 10, Yaren stork met his wife Nazlı, who returned from migration, in her nest.

Yaren stork and his wife Nazlı, who were fed by fisherman Adem Yılmaz's boat on Lake Uluabat throughout the summer and became the center of attention of the villagers, made their final preparations after completing the incubation period and raising their young.

As autumn approached and the temperatures began to drop, Yaren and Nazlı started their long journey on the African route.

Nature photographer and bird watcher Alper Tüydeş, in his post on his virtual media account, said, "We have been waiting since 11:00 in the morning to see if we would see them in the nest again. Even though they come separately, they leave the nest together. How beautifully they posed in the same boat this year. Also, this year, all the storks of the village He left on the same day. This was talked about in the village coffee house. So we have entered a sad September. They will now flap their wings towards the south, watching the city lights from a distance at night.
