This is the first result of the analysis on the nameless body found in a car found this morning in the waters of the Tergola river in the area of ​​San Giorgio in Bosco (Padua). According to the investigators' initial findings, the man, estimated to be between 45 and 55 years old, was killed with a firearm. From an initial external reconnaissance carried out on the site of the discovery, the body would present signs compatible with a presence in the water for no more than 12 hours. The autopsy will take place in the next few hours. The alarm was raised when a motorist noticed the car emerging from the river. The recovery of the vehicle was carried out by the firefighters, while the Carabinieri of the Cittadella company and the investigative unit of the provincial command of Padua are carrying out the investigations.

An attempt is made to give the victim an identity

In addition to the reconstruction of the approximate time of death and entry into the water, the procedures for reconstructing the fingerprints useful in trying to give an identity to that body will also be fundamental. If he has a criminal record, the fingerprints will lead to a name and surname and from there to any acquaintances of the subject. The car was spotted by some passing craftsmen at dawn this morning, a few tens of meters from the busy Torre di Burri roundabout, not far from the center of the hamlet of the same name. The body was located in the back seats, as if it had been loaded from the trunk. The body, partially hidden, was tied and covered by parts of a tire. It is difficult to hypothesize that the nameless man's executioners chose such a place to hide the body. More likely, the execution and clumsy concealment of the body were almost contextual both in time and space.
