Candidates for the government of Ceará present health, housing and campaign proposals on Tuesday's agenda

Candidate for the PSDB, Ciro Gomes said, this Tuesday (22), that he intends to reproduce the model of the First Childhood Institute (Iprede) throughout Ceará if elected. The third sector institution is a reference in serving atypical families in situations of social vulnerability, treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

On this Tuesday's agenda, the toucan met with entities representing atypical families and neurodivergent children, in Fortaleza, and commented on proposals for assistance to atypical people and their families. Tucano's plan is to install an "Iprede unit" in each of the state's health regions.

Ciro also criticized the management models in the areas of health and culture used in the government of Elmano de Freitas (PT). In the first area, the toucan defended "standardizing" the public health management format in Ceará and said that he will put an end to "political patronage" in the choices of state hospital managers.

The governor and candidate for re-election Elmano de Freitas (PT) stated, this Tuesday (22), that he intends to build 70 thousand new homes for Ceará families if he is re-elected. The promise was made during a walk in the community of Poço da Draga, located between the Center and Praia de Iracema, in Fortaleza.

According to Elmano, more than 200 thousand families in the state still do not have access to housing. The PT member defended "synergy" between the state government, the federal government and the municipalities to resolve this issue.

Elmano also spoke about ensuring improvements for communities with greater social vulnerability, but "respecting the history of the population" who live in these places. The candidate cited the restoration of the Mucuripe Lighthouse, in the Vicente Pinzon neighborhood, in the capital, in partnership with the City of Fortaleza.

Early in the morning, candidate Serley Leal, from UP, carried out a leaflet at the Humanities Center of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Afterwards, he participated in a demonstration by Caixa Econômica workers, who are on strike. Soon after, he leafleted at the UFC's Pici Campus University Restaurant. At the end of the afternoon, he returned to leafleting at the Humanities Center.

In the morning, Vera Lúcia, Novo's candidate, had a meeting with the party's candidate for the Senate for Ceará, General Guilherme Theóphilo. In the afternoon, she had a meeting with music professionals. At night, Vera L carried out leafleting in Carlito Pamplona square, in Fortaleza.

The PSTU candidate, Zé Batista, started the day with a leaflet among construction workers. Afterwards, he carried out leafleting at the Antônio Bezerra Terminal, in Fortaleza. In the early afternoon, he leafleted workers at a company in Caucaia. In the afternoon, Zé Batista participated in a meeting with the campaign team.
