Patrus Ananias fulfills campaign agenda in Belo Horizonte and Congonhas

The PT candidate for the government of Minas Gerais, Patrus Ananias, completed his campaign schedule this Tuesday (22) in Belo Horizonte and Congonhas, in the Central Region of the state.

In the capital, Patrus met with representatives of social movements, unions and state and municipal employees at the party committee, in the Floresta neighborhood, in the Eastern Region.

During the meeting, the candidate presented government proposals and stated that, if elected, he intends to expand dialogue with social and trade union movements.

Patrus also defended the expansion of full-time education in the public network, with an eight-hour day for students.

"I always say what I want for impoverished children who attend public schools: that they have the same rights and opportunities as children born into wealthier families who attend private schools, a public school at the level of the best private schools," he stated.

Also this Tuesday, Patrus participated in a plenary session with workers from the iron and basic metals extraction industry, in Congonhas.
