Patrus também defendeu a ampliação do ensino em tempo integral na rede pública, com uma jornada de oito horas diárias para os estudantes.
"Eu sempre coloco o que quero às crianças empobrecidas que frequentam a escola pública: que elas tenham os mesmos direitos e oportunidades que as crianças nascidas em famílias mais abastadas que frequentam a escola privada, uma escola pública no nível das melhores escolas privadas", afirmou.
