Candidates present proposals for infrastructure and economic development in Rio Grande do Norte

Cadu de Lula (PT) participated in a walk in Bom Pastor, in the West Zone of Natal, and spoke about economic development. Allyson Bezerra (União Brasil) completed an agenda in Mossoró and presented proposals for infrastructure and mobility. Álvaro Dias (PL) had no public campaign commitments during the day.

The agenda focused on infrastructure and mobility proposals. The candidate stated that he intends to prioritize works in large and small cities in the state and said that, before starting a works program, it will be necessary to organize Rio Grande do Norte's finances.

"We are going to organize the State's finances, it is an immediate commitment. Within this financial reorganization, of the State budget, we are going to guarantee that Rio Grande do Norte has the capacity to make investments for major works. This is the case of building bridges, highways. The big cities, such as Mossoró, Parnamirim, São Gonçalo, Extremoz, Ceará-Mirim, and the entire metropolitan region of Natal, and the big cities within each metropolitan region, will also receive major infrastructure works".

Cadu de Lula (PT) participated in a walk in the Bom Pastor neighborhood, in the West Zone of Natal, alongside supporters and supporters. During the agenda, he presented proposals for the state's economic development.

Among the points mentioned are tax incentives to attract investments and infrastructure actions, such as the Porto-Indústria Verde de Caiçara project, the expansion of highways and incentives for rail transport. Cadu also defended faster environmental licensing processes and cited a project on the topic currently being discussed in the Legislative Assembly.

"The legal framework for environmental licensing is that we will decentralize, we will have a better structure to speed up environmental projects, but we cannot give up on caring for the environment, that our educational institutions need to be connected with all the potential of Rio Grande do Norte, fruit growing, tourism, mining, renewable energy, there are a lot of good things happening in our State and we need to train a workforce so that our young people can adapt to the local job market".

For the neighborhood, the candidate defended structural improvements for traders, through partnerships with municipal management to carry out works on the camelódromo and the restructuring of the drainage system to avoid flooding during rainy periods.

"Drainage in Natal is something that needs to be done for a long time, we have few actions in this regard and we are going to work in partnership with the city hall, with President Lula's government, so that we can solve this problem, which is not just in Alecrim. Natal has several flooded areas in the North Zone, in Rocas itself. The city hall has been investing and we are going to form a partnership", he said.
