PSDB candidate for the government of RS, Marcelo Maranata fulfills campaign schedule in Porto Alegre

Candidate for the governor of Rio Grande do Sul by the PSDB, Marcelo Maranata fulfilled campaign commitments this Monday (28). He was in Porto Alegre.

The former mayor of Guaíba fulfilled an agenda at the party directory, in the Historic Center of Porto Alegre. The candidate met with the campaign team to adjust details of campaign materials that will be released. He also discussed highlights of the government plan that he intends to address in the debate on RBS TV, which takes place at 10:15 pm this Tuesday (29).

Until October 2nd, candidates for the government of Rio Grande do Sul will answer questions asked directly by voters interviewed by RBS TV. There will be six themes, one each week: security, health, education, infrastructure, economy and climate disaster prevention. In total, 86 voters will have their questions answered.

Candidates will have 30 seconds to present their answers. Of the seven candidates, three will respond each day. The order of appearance takes into account the most recent electoral survey commissioned by Grupo RBS, released this Monday (24).

Regarding climate change prevention, the candidate chose the question from voter Alana Maia, from Porto Alegre. “Candidate, what is your proposal for schools to be able to face climate change?”, he asks.

"Within Civil Defense, we will have a special resource to rebuild schools and health centers as soon as possible so that the child can have a safe place. But the school environment must also be the place where we will discuss the entire school environment, evacuation and prevention in relation to climate problems. So, Alana, schools and health will be the first places that we will invest Civil Defense money", stated Maranata.
